Maybe this belongs in the music board, I dunno. So has anyone heard music they thought worked well with a book or story?
I always thought the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack would be nice for Anne of Green Gables.
I'm also loving this song and think it belongs with some book just don't know which one:
Maybe Cress and Thorne? I love those two so much ^_^ And also just because the word "Satellite" is used in the song haha. Also because of the "what are you waiting for" line. The nerd feelings are strong with this one

Bridget, I think this would be great for Fifty Shades of Gray.

I just now got around to listening to this. I'm not real excited with the fact that it's from this particular soundtrack, but it's a pretty decent song otherwise. I can see it as a song for Cress and Thorne. I think a good song for them walking through the desert is maybe "Atlas" by Coldplay.

Or maybe not the desert, but as they're tumbling towards the earth in the satellite before they get to the desert. And I think "Place for Us" by Mikko should be somewhere in the soundtrack too. It kind of applies to all of them.

Oooh, that's awesome. I've actually been wanting to listen to the Cress audiobook when I'm driving but it's so expensive, like $40. I can't do this waiting until November for the next book thing!

The Cress audiobook? What is that like a book on tape thing? I was actually discussing the Lunar Chronicles with somebody from church today. Can you believe I found another nerd who read them??

No one you know, just one of the Cichos girls. She hasn't read Fairest yet though so I'm going to let her borrow my copy. I feel super cool for once, lol

Haha def a cool mom. I usually shove my books into friends arms then I'm disappointed when they read them and they're like, "yeah, they weren't bad". At least we know she already likes cinder.

Well even she said that she basically only reads YA books these days even though she's ready some heavies like LotR. She's afraid to become friends with anyone on Goidreads because she feels a little ridiculous. I was like, "Hey! My sister and I only read YA too!" Haha, I should be a nerd recruiter.
